Playing with a neighbour's kittens (all six of them - tumbling out of the wood shed to greet me). Eating homemade Hot Fudge Pudding with freshly made whipped cream. Walking down a country road, enjoying the mild day. Making the dump run. (Not 'making the dump RUN'; ME making the DUMP RUN.) Reading Organic Gardening magazine. Recording last year's vegetable garden story in my gardening journal. Crying for no reason. Laughing (gut laughs) at this episode (and parts 2-4) of the Graham Norton show, with Ewan McGregor and Chris O'Dowd. Looking at the gingerbread houses in an adorable village in Ontario with Google Streetview. Tramping around the snow in the yard, doing some cleanup in our small pine forest. Talking to my daughter on the phone, now back at university for the semester.
My day - in no particular order.

Thanks for your note on my blog. I write so seldom that I am not sure anyone ever sees it anymore.
Hope your neighbours kittens do better than ours did last year. I got 4 "free" kittens from a farm down the road and we paid a vet a huge amount of money to have them cured of the sniffles and then fixed to not reproduce and then they started to wander to the road to meet cars and trucks. No vet can help a squashed cat. We only have one of the four just over a year later.
Hard to keep cats near home.
