Holiday Retrospective

Back to work tomorrow, after a week and a half off. Just because days begin to meld, and some things get forgotten (by me), here are some highlights (for my benefit):

• the four of us - all together - for days on end (the last time we were all together was August) - WONDERFUL family time


• Backgammon


• puzzles


• making snowmen


• walks


• fantastic hike on Rideau Trail (in Top 3 of this list!)


• the BEST double layer chocolate I've EVER made - Chocolate Beet Cake (soooooo moist; so full of flavour)


• baking awesome ginger snaps


• crocheting


• a great visit with the family I babysat for when I was a teenager


• a haircut I really like


• read a couple of books


• and to reiterate - great family time - especially with my daughter, who is home from university

I had a great holiday :)
