Lamb Minutes

Driving to work this morning down the country road into town...passed by a farm with a field full of sheep and lambs. The sheep were scattered about in a random fashion, although close in proximity. The lambs, though, were arranged in an incredible pattern. All with their heads down, munching on grass, heads facing the same direction...but side-by-side, and in a slightly curved formation, so that they looked like minute-markers on a clock. Lambs from 5 minutes after the hour to about 27 minutes after the hour.

It was a really interesting visual, and also fascinating to think about how they ended up like that. Some sort of comfort and safety in having a fellow creature touching you on either side, perhaps?

Where's a camera when you need one, eh?

Some of the best scenes of my life have passed without a camera!
