The backyard, with pink perennial sweet peas climbing beside the Centaurea macrocephala, and the newly expanded vegetable garden (in the background) - at long last! Since the purchase of the tractor this spring, cleaning out overgrown areas of the yard has been a breeze. We cleaned out two massive patches of Siberian irises from the holding bed, as well as a corner of the bed filled with well-established quack grass, jerusalem artichokes, and lupins. All dug out, and in new homes on the edge of the property. Now we can get to business with VEGETABLES. Yay!!!
