And now for something happy

Thank you all for your condolences on Sweet Pea. We really miss her, but it was the best thing. She lived a very happy life here in the country. She just got old, and it was her time to go. I dreamt about her the other night; the sun was shining brilliantly, and she was her youthful self, running through a field of long grass, as happy as anything. I woke up smiling.

I looked out the window just a few minutes ago, and the sun was shining through the daffodils. I had to run out to capture the beautiful sight in a photograph! The waxy-flowered hyacinth was gorgeous as well, so I snapped a shot of that too :)

We planted daffodils this year... my I love them so. Such happy silly flowers.

The Man had forgotten he'd planted them making them even more unexpected.
